Activity breaks with your dog between Hereford and Abergevenny - Participants relax between sessions by the log fire in the sitting room or in the conservatory. There is ample opportunity to talk in comfort to the trainer about their dog and to socialise with the other participants over lunch, tea or coffee. In the event of bad weather an indoor area is also available for training. The conditions I set up provide the maximum potential for accelerated learning. This training bears no resemblance to a crowded, cold, noisy village hall full of stressed out dogs! The farm is situated in beautiful countryside in the tiny hamlet of Walterstone on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is off the A465 Hereford Abergavenny Road, approx. 12 miles from Hereford and 8 miles from Abergavenny. The farmhouse is set among rolling pastures with splendid views. The area is ideal for walking, cycling, pony trekking and mountain biking. The local pub which serves food, is just across the fields and Offas Dyke path is close by. Hay-on-Wye is accessible for shopping, books and the literary festival (which is on 21st to 31st May) Directions will be sent with booking. Please note that a sat nav does not take you to the right address! Costs All training including residential training £60 per day with lunch, tea & coffee. Please note: the course teaching dogs to ignore livestock is preferably a 2 day course which can be run as consecutive or seperate days.
